Many sites grow so large that they become difficult to maintain and organize. Linkbot’s advanced filters ease this problem and make it possible to visualize and manipulate specific subsections of the site’s objects. To apply a filter, select one or more of the filter buttons on the toolbar. Linkbot will then apply these filters to the Child and Parent tabs only. By pressing the filter buttons in combination it's possible to view any subset of URLs on your site.
The All Links icon allows you to display every URL on your site in the Child Links tab. From there, you can apply one or more of Linkbot's filters to view specific subsets of the entire site or you can sort the Child list by one of the 8 headings to view trends about the site's objects.
Linkbot's 13 filters allow you to visualize thousands of URL combinations. The two main kinds of filters are URL type filters and URL status filters. Linkbot has 5 different URL type filters: documents, images, mailto, FTP, multimedia and Java applet URLs. The multimedia type includes all sound and video URL types.
Linkbot's print and export features will only print or export the current contents of the Child or Parent Tab. If you want to print out a specific subsection of your site's URLs, select the all links icon in the tree view and choose one or more filters on the toolbar. Next, choose either the Print or Export option from the File menu as needed.
